well, they could ...
well, they could have done? it differently. they could have first promised and made water cheaper and privatized, and then start hiking the price while burring the people deeper in debt.

That's great.?
That's great.?

its later in the ...
its later in the documentary The? Corporation, near the end.

where's the rest of ...
where's the rest of the story?? they won. where's the resolution?

Congratulations, you win the prize for? doublethinker of the year!

A big part of the ...
A big part of the problem with water scarcity, aside from pollution & farming, is people living in areas where it is? unavailable. L.A., Phoenix, & Las Vegas are examples. They in in the freak'n desert! Phoenix initiated a massive water conservation plan & what happened? Everything they saved, just went to Vegas, so they could build more casino/hotels, & instal usless/wasteful water fountains!

If there was a way ...
If there was a way to effectively block the sun & air, corporations would privatize them too. The greedy WTO/World bank cause more problems & poverty than they alleviate. I just found out that in many states in the USA, it is illegal to collect rain water! WTF? This century may? very well see water wars so volatile/violent , they will make the oil wars of last century seem like play ground slap fights. People will (rightfully) do ANYTHING to ensure a supply of water/LIFE.

@HelmetVanga The ...
@HelmetVanga The big picture is NOT the other way around. The flaw in your argument is that the cocaine industry can well afford to purchase the water they use in the production of cocaine, whereas the innocent poor cannot. There is no reasonable argument in support of privatizing one of the key elements essential to life? on earth.

f**king greedy ...
f**king greedy corporations owned by the bankers and self appointed rulers of this world...these are not countries but very? powerful families that make their money scamming countries into borrowing their money .. these are the true parassites of the world.

dude, without water ...
dude, without water, you can only survive maybe 2 days. If your water service is being cut because of price hikes of up to 200-300% and you can't afford it, then you gotta stand up for this injustice. Water is LIFE. Especially when most of these people are impoverished, as Bolivia is the poorest country in Latin America you? know

haha dude,? you ...
haha dude,? you gotta see the full documentary "The Corporation"! It is creepy, but I think it fits well with the rest of the documentary cause, I dunno, it creates that weird feeling against these schemes!

maybe maybe not. ...
maybe maybe not. The big picture is the other way around. Bolivia is actually punishing the US. Since almost forever cocaine manufacturered in Bolivia in the beginining entered into the US and now look the drug problem in the US plus the crime related and deaths per day, month and year. The solution to the drug problem is almost imposible and that is to stop comsumption and the making of the? drug will stop. This war for water was for little kids.

the problem is that ...
the problem is that its not just there? government it is just as much the US, mostly the World Bank that forces the local government to sell out.

Powerful footage! ...
Powerful footage! Shame on their government, betrayed their people and supported privatization. It makes me very? inspired seeing people unite and fight like that!
